The session is moderated by Sandra Karangwa (she/her), a trainer, speaker, moderator and activist with many years of experience in anti-racism and empowerment work. From a power-critical and anti-racist perspective, she independently facilitates educational spaces and is interested in social transformation through resistant, intersectional struggles for liberation.
This event is part of Off Script, a series of events within the Spotlights Programme of Manifesta 16 Ruhr. The Spotlights Programme of Manifesta 16 Ruhr is developed together with local institutions, initiatives and actors from the region. At its centre are the perspectives of people whose everyday lives are shaped by experiences of discrimination. Through participatory formats, the programme creates spaces for community, exchange and empowerment through creative forms of expression.
